Septic & AWTS Service Technician – Civcon Water Services
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum
Vehicle: Tool-of-trade company ute
Role Overview
Civcon Water Services is seeking a reliable Service Technician to carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance of onsite Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems (AWTS) and septic systems.
This is a field-based role involving scheduled quarterly servicing in line with NSW Health requirements, as well as responding to breakdowns and maintaining strong customer relationships across our service areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled servicing and inspections of AWTS and septic systems
- Ensure systems are operating correctly in line with regulatory requirements
- Clean components and replenish disinfection chemicals
- Check pump operation and carry out minor repairs and adjustments
- Complete service reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation
- Follow established service procedures and checklists
- Respond to emergency breakdowns when required
- Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
Requirements
- Current C-Class driver’s licence with a good driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
- Self-motivated with the ability to think on the run
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, hands-on work
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Training & Development
Full training will be provided, including approximately 2 weeks working alongside Civcon trainers.
